Geronde Consulting and Care Management Services was born out of a deep respect for the elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life. Our founder, Denizia, also known as Geronde, was inspired by the compassionate care traditions of her native Trinidad and Tobago. She was moved to action by the challenges she witnessed in long-term care settings in the U.S., leading her to become a Certified Professional Gerontologist. Today, we leverage over two decades of industry experience to provide training, consulting, and care management services that are uniquely tailored to the needs of our clients.

Our founder, Denizia, also known as Geronde, was deeply moved by the challenges she witnessed in long-term care settings in the U.S. This led her to become a Certified Professional Gerontologist and dedicate her life to improving the quality of life for older adults.
My name is Denizia, but people call me Geronde, and this work is personal to me. After migrating from Trinidad and Tobago over 20 years ago, I was shocked by the cultural differences in how older adults were treated in the U.S. I’ve seen firsthand how institutional care can rob people of their dignity and voice. That’s why I became a Certified Professional Gerontologist—to help older adults live with respect, autonomy, and purpose. At Geronde Consulting and Care Management Services, we are committed to promoting dignity, respect, and choice for older adults—wherever they live and however they age.
